sexiness is not about being scantily clothed either.
I constantly see all these people feeding into the media and society’s standards. wearing that shirt that hangs so low i can see your boobs popping out, wearing those shorts so high your ass cheeks hang out. and then we are plagued by all these pictures of what America thinks that ‘sexy’ is and all these girls want to hopelessly look and be ‘perfect’ and ‘sexy’. no no no no! it makes me so sad because I used to be one of those girls too. I remember how horrible I felt and how I never felt good enough for anyone. I remember hearing boys saying and wanting this model or this girl just because of her body and not because of her personality or what she has to offer. like “oh damn, she’s hot I wish I had her”. like why are you lusting after her looks? have you even gotten to know her? I am in no way saying that a person wouldn’t have anything to offer if she dressed that way - I’m just saying why do we have to be less clothed to feel more confident? why do we have to shame our bodies to feel more beautiful?
it’s not fair. and it’s a two way thing. ladies, be brave, don’t feed into it, and men, help us feel loved and cherished for who we are and not our bodies.

my feelings matter. how dare you say that they are not real. the way i feel is valid regardless of what you’re doing, where you are, and whether you have time for them. my feelings are real and if you don’t care about how I feel then fuck you for acting like you did and for having me think that you would.
why would you mislead someone like that?
